The games
Three ways to play
Imposter
Everyone has the same film. Almost.
One player gets a different card, or no film at all. Give one-word clues, vote out the imposter, and if they're caught they still get one guess at the film.
3 or more · one room on everyone's phone, or one phone passed round
Charades
Phone on your forehead. Your team acts.
Hold the phone to your forehead, screen facing your team. They act out the film, you guess. Tilt down when you get it, up to pass. First team to the target wins.
2 teams · one phone
Higher or Lower
Which one made more?
Two films, one question: box office, year, running time or rating. Keep your streak going round the table.
1 or more · one phone
Imposter rooms
Every phone in the room gets its own secret card
Host
Pick a deck and open a room. You get a six-letter code.
Join
Friends type the code in Moovie on their own phones. No accounts, no sign-up.
Play
Everyone sees their own secret card. Clues, votes and the reveal happen together.
On your own? Join with the code PLAYME to play a round against three bots.

Questions
Is it free?
Yes. All three games are free with your country's deck, and there are no ads. Moovie Premium is optional: it unlocks all 16 decks, Undercover mode and longer games, monthly, yearly or once for life.
Do we need accounts?
No. Rooms use a six-letter code and the name you type, and they close 12 hours after the last move.
Does everyone need the app?
Only for Imposter rooms. Charades, Higher or Lower and Imposter's pass-the-phone round all work on one phone.
Where do the films come from?
Each deck is built from films people in that country actually know, using data from TMDB, refreshed regularly.
